Join the 1st European Wool Forum: A Collaborative Online Panel Discussion
We are excited to announce the 1st European Wool Forum, a landmark online event bringing together wool enthusiasts, experts, and advocates from across Europe to discuss, collaborate, and shape the future of European wool.
Event Details:
Date: Thursday, 31st October 2024
Time: 7:00 PM - 8:30 PM CET
Format: Online
This event is organised by Karin Flatøy Svarstad (Founder of the North Atlantic Native Sheep and Wool Conference, Norway), Dorthea Joensen (Búnaðarstovan, Faroe Islands), and the European Wool Association AISBL, Belgium.
Why Attend?
Europe is experiencing a revival in locally grown wool, with numerous inspiring projects leading the way. However, challenges remain in shearing, sorting, collecting, and processing local wool. This forum will address these challenges, offering a unique opportunity for participants to connect, exchange ideas, and collaborate on solutions for a sustainable wool industry in Europe.
A special feature of the forum will be insights from the North Atlantic Native Sheep and Wool Conference (NANSW), which has successfully fostered collaboration and strategic action for over a decade.
How to Participate:
To be part of this exciting initiative, please register here. You will receive a personal invitation link to join the forum a few days before the event.
Don’t miss this opportunity to engage with fellow wool advocates and help drive the future of European wool.
We look forward to welcoming you to the forum!
